What kind of impact does your donation make?
Saves mistreated and abandoned dogs
Your donation saves lives. Mexico ranks first in Latin America with the largest numbers of stray dogs. Around 70% of the dogs in Mexico live on the street. Not only the abandonment, but mistreatment is a huge problem as well. We fight to save as many lives as we can.
Funds vaccination and spaying /neutering
All the dogs in the shelter Fundación DAR are fully vaccinated and sterilized and receive necessary medical care. But that is not all. The shelter organizes regular spaying/neutering and vaccination events to help to stop the rising problem of the strays in the area.
Flies our dogs to their new homes
Due to the situation in Mexico, most of the dogs in the shelter Fundación DAR find their forever homes in the US or in Canada. With your donation, you can make it possible to fly our adopted dogs to their permanent, loving homes.
Funds training, education, outreach
Education and awareness are key to saving lives. The shelter Fundación DAR holds regular programs about the challenges facing neglected dogs in hope of preventing neglect before it starts. We also provide regular dog training sessions.
