About Reyna 🐾

Reyna was found walking along the highway with her two puppies — a mother doing what mothers do, trying to keep her babies safe with nothing but the road ahead of her. Her puppies were taken in and found homes. Reyna stayed. That was 2019. She was only a year old.

Reyna has now spent almost her entire life inside a shelter. She was brought in as a young mother, full of love to give — and for nearly seven years, she has been waiting for someone to give it to. Seven years of watching other dogs come and go. Seven years of shelter walls instead of a home. She was born in 2018. She should have had a family long ago.

Despite everything, Reyna is warm and affectionate with people. She gets along well with male dogs and enjoys their company. She does not do well with other female dogs, so she would thrive best as the only female in the home — or with a calm, confident male companion.

She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to travel to the USA or Canada for adoption.

If you cannot adopt, you can support Reyna through virtual adoption — a monthly sponsorship that helps provide food, medical care, and comfort while she waits.

Reyna has already given so much — she raised her puppies on a highway with nothing. She has spent nearly seven years being patient, gentle, and loving in a place that was never meant to be permanent. She deserves a home more than almost any dog we know. Please don't let her wait another year.
