Help at the shelter
Be there for them when they need it most.
Are you living in or visiting Mexico? Your hands-on help at our shelter in Tequisquiapan makes a real difference every single day. Volunteers support daily care such as feeding the dogs, cleaning kennels, walking and playing with them, and helping with basic training.
Most importantly, you give them something every rescued dog needs: love, patience, and human connection.
Adopt or foster
Change a life forever—starting today.
By adopting or fostering a rescued dog, you give them a second chance at life and unconditional love. Every dog that finds a home opens space for another one to be rescued.
All dogs are fully vaccinated, sterilized, and carefully checked by a veterinarian before joining their new families. If adoption isn’t possible right now, fostering is a beautiful way to help.
Be a flight angel
Turn your flight into a lifesaving journey.
Traveling from Mexico to the US or Canada? You can help a rescued dog reach safety as a flight angel—at no cost to you.
Our team meets you at the airport in Mexico City with the dog and handles all documentation and customs paperwork.
Upon arrival, our trusted rescue partners take over and guide the dog to their next step toward a forever home.
Volunteer remotely
Support our work from anywhere in the world.
You don’t have to be on-site to make a difference. DAR Foundation US welcomes remote volunteers who want to support our mission with their skills. Whether it’s fundraising, marketing, social media, content creation, video editing, or other talents—your time helps save lives.
Together, we can achieve more for dogs who have no voice.
