Chía was rescued from a hoarding situation at only three months old— a place where far too many dogs were crammed together in terrible conditions, malnourished and neglected. The person who kept them couldn't care for them. The animals paid the price.

Chía is a beautiful shepherd mix on the smaller side, and she is genuinely a joy to be around. She's playful without being overwhelming, friendly with people, and easy with other dogs. She has a sweetness to her that you notice right away — the kind that makes you wonder how anyone could have let her live the way she did before.
