About Chispa 🐾

Chispa was rescued from a hoarding situation — a place where dozens of dogs were crammed together, malnourished and in poor health, living in conditions no animal should ever endure. She was just a few months old when rescuers found her.

She arrived at the shelter in February 2023, tiny and fragile. The shelter nursed her back to health. And then, as so often happens, the shelter became her home.
Chispa has grown up within its walls. She has never known what it feels like to have a family, a yard, a child to run after, or a puddle to splash in. But she wants all of those things — and she will tell you so herself.

Because Chispa is pure, joyful energy. She loves to run, loves to play, and absolutely lights up around water. She is friendly with other dogs, warm with people, and completely devoted to children. Whatever she went through in those early months has left no bitterness in her — only an enormous, boundless enthusiasm for life.
She was born in September 2022. She should be living her best life by now.

She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to travel to the USA or Canada for adoption.

If you cannot adopt, you can support Chispa through virtual adoption — a monthly sponsorship that helps provide food, medical care, and comfort while she waits.

Chispa started life in the worst possible place. She deserves to end up in the best one — a home where she is loved, where she can run until her legs give out, and where someone lets her splash in every puddle she finds.
She has been waiting long enough. Could that home be yours?
