About Choco 🐾

Someone threw Choco away.

He was found on the street — just three months old, barely a puppy, with a broken leg and an infection that had already gone too far. By the time he arrived at the shelter, the leg couldn't be saved. It had to be amputated. He lost a leg. He never lost his spirit.

That was 2022. Choco has grown up at the shelter. He has never known a yard, a couch, a person who comes home to him at the end of the day. The shelter is the only home he has ever had — and still, he greets every day with joy.
Because Choco is playful. Genuinely, enthusiastically, beautifully playful. He has medium energy — enough to keep you on your toes, not so much that he'll wear you out. He runs, he plays, he enjoys life with a lightness that feels almost impossible given where he started. And he is stunning. Three legs and all.

Choco gets along well with female dogs and does best in a home without male dogs. He loves people and has love to give — lots of it, to whoever is ready to receive it.
He came in broken. He healed. He waited. He is still waiting.

Choco is neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready to travel to the US or Canada for adoption. If you cannot adopt, consider a virtual adoption — a monthly sponsorship that covers his food, care, and comfort while he looks for his family.

He was thrown away once. He deserves to be chosen.
