Kevin was found on the highway, hit by a motorcycle, lying on the asphalt. He was three months old.

Fortunately, his injuries were not serious — mostly bruising, no deep wounds — and he recovered. But the image of a tiny puppy lying in the road, alone, is one that stays with you. He arrived at the shelter in December 2025, barely old enough to understand what had happened to him.

He is still a puppy now. Playful, sweet, and full of the kind of boundless energy that makes you smile without meaning to. He is good with people and good with other dogs, and his smaller size makes him an easy fit for many kinds of homes. He is, simply put, a beautiful little dog with a whole lot of life ahead of him.
