About Lucas 🐾
Lucas walked into a shop badly injured, bleeding from wounds left by other dogs. He was in pain, alone, and had every reason not to trust. And yet, when the shelter team approached him, he let them come close.
That quiet, gentle trust is not something Lucas learned. It is simply who he is.
He has been at the shelter since November 2020. Through all the years of waiting, through all the dogs that came and went and found homes while he stayed behind, Lucas never hardened. He remained calm, soft, and patient in a way that is almost hard to believe.
But those years were supposed to be his best ones. Now a senior boy, he deserves a peaceful home where he can finally rest, feel safe, and exhale.
Lucas is calm, low-energy, and wonderful with people. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and has no known health issues. He gets along well with female dogs and is ready to travel to the USA or Canada.
If you cannot adopt, you can support him through virtual adoption — a monthly sponsorship that helps cover his food and care while he waits.
After everything, Lucas still believes in people. The question is whether someone will believe in him before it is too late.
Lucas has waited long enough. Will you be the one to take him home?
