Suko was hit by a car. Fortunately, his injuries were not severe, and he recovered. But the fact that he was out there in the first place — in the street, in the path of traffic, with no one to protect him — says everything about the life he had before we found him.
He healed. And then he showed everyone exactly who he is.

Suko is a beautiful brown dog with white at his chest and paws, and a personality that is impossible not to fall in love with. Playful, warm, and genuinely affectionate, he loves people and gets along easily with other dogs. There is a sweetness to him that feels almost unfair given what he went through — as if the accident happened to some other dog, and this joyful, loving creature just showed up in his place.

Suko is still young, and we feel it with every day that passes. His best years are right in front of him. He should be spending them in a home — running, playing, curled up next to someone on the couch — not watching his youth go by from inside a shelter.

He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready to travel to the USA or Canada for adoption.
