About Tara🐾
Tara came to the shelter at just two months old, along with her littermates. Their mother had been found seriously ill, with cancer, and the puppies had to be separated from her while she received treatment.
The story has a good ending, mostly. Their mother healed. She was adopted. The other puppies found homes, too. Tara is still waiting.
She has grown up entirely within the shelter walls — playful, bright, full of energy, surrounded by people who care for her but not yet by someone who is truly hers. She arrived in December 2023 as a tiny puppy who had never known a home. She still hasn't.
None of it has dulled her. Tara is high-energy and joyful, the kind of dog who greets every day like something good is about to happen. She loves people and gets along beautifully with other dogs. She is not a dog who has given up — she is a dog who is ready, in every possible way, for the life she hasn't had yet. Her whole family moved on. She deserves the same.
Tara is spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to travel to the USA or Canada for adoption.
If adoption isn't possible for you right now, virtual adoption lets you support her monthly — covering food, medical care, and comfort while she waits.
Every dog from that rescue found a place to call home. Every dog but one. It's Tara's turn.
